MPOWERED BROKER CASE CARDS

The MPowered broker case card platform serves as a centralized hub for registered mortgage brokers to access real-time information on current and past cases. Our objective was to streamline the presentation of data in each case while providing the option for brokers to delve deeper into individual cases by navigating to the broker platform for further details. Additionally, the case cards were designed to accommodate pop-up notifications from underwriters seeking clarification on specific cases, allowing brokers to respond promptly via the broker platform. Each question would be prominently highlighted within the corresponding tab on the broker platform for easy reference. (As seen in the screenshots).

For our example, we used Property and Documents questions for our case study.

Design objective

Our goal was to integrate the broker case cards seamlessly into the broker platform. We began by analysing how brokers currently interacted with the case cards to identify opportunities for integration with the broker platform, ultimately aiming to create a more cohesive user experience.

User Research

We gathered our data from usability testing conducted on the Broker Platform and workshops hosted by MPowered Mortgages throughout the year. Through these sessions, we collaborated with brokers to identify and implement improved solutions for streamlining the case card question process.

Sketches, Wireframing & Prototyping

We initiated the process by sketching out the user flow, a highly effective method for illustrating design sequences and exploring a variety of ideas and iterations before finalising a direction. Once the initial sketches were completed to establish the design flow, we proceeded to develop wireframes and prototypes using Sketch and InVision. These tools allowed us to ensure that we crafted an intuitive and user-friendly journey for our users.
